Connection & Community

Kids Listen serves two main functions in support of our mission to build community, advocate for the growth of the medium, and create standards and ethics that serve as best practices for development, production, and monetization.

We help children and their families find high-quality podcasts (content and production value). We are a resource for parents, caregivers, and educators seeking screen-free media for children of all ages and across multiple genres.

Kids Listen creates spaces and forums for producers to share ideas, lessons learned, and best practices for making high-quality audio content for children and their families. We research and publish data and information relevant to creators, consumers, and supporters of kids' podcasts. Kids Listen also uses our platform to support and promote member shows and to develop more high-quality audio for children and families.
