Thank you for your interest in Kids Listen.
Kids Listen is an organization for those who want to play an active role in encouraging high quality audio content for kids. Membership is a Slack-based community of wide-ranging discussion. Our goal is to create connections that will spur new creative collaborations, provide knowledge-based resources unique to family audiences, and result in more high quality podcasts for kids.
Kids Listen is an open organization and membership is by application and review. New applications are currently being accepted for Winter 2022-3. Applications must be submitted by December 1, 2022. Decisions will be communicated to applicants in February, 2023.
We offer four full levels of membership
and hope you’ll join us in contributing to this cause:
General Membership
$75/year
An individual membership for creators and advocates. Up to 3 additional team members may join for an additional $25/year (see below). An individual member may add up to 3 separate shows to the Kids Listen app (subject to approval). Additional shows may be added for $50 each.
Corporate Membership
$400/year
Corporate members can add up to six individual members, and up to ten shows on the member list and app, subject to board approval. Additional members may be added for $75 each; additional shows beyond ten may be added for $50 each..
Team Member
$25/year
Additional individuals involved in producing podcasts already covered under a General Membership.
Non-creator Advocate
$25/year
For teachers and other individuals who want to be part of the community, but are not involved in producing podcasts for kids & families.
