Fina Mendoza, our 10-year-old detective, is stuck at home. Her teacher has assigned a living history project: keep a coronavirus journal for future historians to use a primary source. Listening to this first day’s entry, we learn that her congressman father is working on a Rules Committee report about allowing Congress to vote remotely, investigating whether Fina will get an unemployment check since she can’t do her dog-walking job, and following Fina as she solves the mystery of the missing TV remote control.
